Terry-Joe Downer is a dual-licensed attorney in Ontario and Jamaica. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies and earned her Legal Education Certificate from Norman Manley Law School. She was called to the Jamaican Bar in 2019 and the Ontario Bar in 2024.
Terry-Joe’s practice includes civil litigation, family law, real estate, and estate administration. She is known for being detail-oriented, practical, and committed to helping clients understand their options in plain language. She approaches each matter with care and professionalism, with the goal of helping clients move forward with confidence.
Outside of work, Terry-Joe enjoys travelling, watching sports, and volunteering, and she is proud to contribute to a community-focused practice.
